Just use the contact us tab, and send us your mailing address, or send an email to admin@susancoxpowellfoundation.net (which is what the contact us does) I will be glad to mail you some. I have no idea what the postage will be yet, otherwise I would ask that you send a pre-addressed stamped envelope but maybe next time. I only have a small quantity for now but I can get more if people request more then one or two. They look real good on a purple ribbon.

Honestly Denise I would dedicate a time of the reception to both Charlie and Braden. I know most would probably say, " we'll this is your time and it should be about you." But honestly, I remember a part in Anne Rules book that said most people in Utah and Washington will remember where they were when Josh did his thing. I can tell you right now, this reaches a lot further than just those, two states and country. I seriously can't shake it and because of what happened I daily come home from work and hug my three year old and my twins both eight months old. So I think because of the impact this has had maybe dedicate just a few minutes on overhead of their lives. I know they would be proud and looking down smiling about their aunty and husband at the reception, even if it means blending in a few picks during the ceremony, it would mean so much.

You could actually do some fun stuff if you wanted, it might be a bit different but if you keep an open mind..... perhaps the place cards for where people sit or table numbers could be a toy dinosaur to hold the cards or the names. You could also look for your guest gifts to include the dinosaur in some way. We gave cigars to the men and bubble gum brides and grooms to the women and children. There was 1 woman we gave a cigar to but she smoked them so it was fine. We also had footballs with our name and date printed on them for the guests (husband is a huge Washington Redskin fan).

Certainly tying in the purple in some way would be a nice remembrance for Susan. It can be small if its not your colors. Small flowers in the bouquet, small flowers on the cake, a small table with photos of Susan and the boys.....

So I just reread the eulogies for the boys: here are some ideas. Small trucks painted orange with Braden's name on them with apple seed packets in the back and a small baggie of dirt on each table OR a really big dump truck painted orange with an apple tree growing out of it as a memorial with a big dinosaur for Charlie. OR what about an orange lego dinosaur that would tie everything together.

Think a little outside the box and don't be afraid to be a little different. It will make the reception fun, memorable and be a wonderful tribute to these sweet boys.

I almost busted out crying because of Braden falling down and when it's mentioned jumping up and saying he's alright. My youngest nephew who was born Feb. 5th 2008 falls down and when asked if he is okay jumps up, throws his hands in the air and announces, I'm okay! So funny, we don't know where he got it either. Charlie and Braden remind me so much of Joe and Josh in so many ways. I like hugging them tight hoping they know how much they are loved.

Congrats on the wedding. I hope these ideas will get your brain stirring a little. :)
